Never trust the artist. Trust the tale

May 16, 2010

It’s asking a lot to have you at hello, so I’ll keep the introductions simple and hope that these narratives proceed to hook you in the telling. This is another football/World Cup blog, chronicling the tournament as seen through my eyes during three and a half weeks in South Africa (and a little segue into Zambia, which forms a little communion with the past) this summer. Eight live games, four cities and all that lies inbetween. That’s from June 18 – ’til then, this little alveolus of cyberspace will be commenting on whichever World Cup-related matters take its fancy and hopes that you’ll chip in, too.
